The Windrush Caribbean Film Festival (WCFF) enriches UK film culture and enhances public awareness about the profound social, economic, and cultural contributions of the Windrush generation and their descendants by educating audiences across the UK through film screenings, talkbacks, interviews, and workshops. This year, the Windrush Caribbean Film Festival celebrates its 5th year as a Caribbean-focused film festival in the UK. The theme for WCFF 2024 is Transitions & Travels – The Journey continues. Caribbean history is punctuated by archetypical movements. From villages to towns, from islands to Metropoles. By ships and planes. The 2024 festival represents transitions and journeys in film and narratives.
